What this draws

ECMWF's operational high-resolution forecast, HRES. Surface fields on the 0.1° grid the model is published on — about 11 km — rather than the 0.25° open-data grid most public sites draw, and eleven pressure levels at 0.25° alongside them.

The same forecast arrives here on two separate feeds that disagree about grid origin, temperature units and forecast-hour cadence. Both are handled as properties of the feed rather than of the model, and the registration of each against the other was checked against wgrib2 rather than assumed.

This is not an official forecast and carries no warnings. For those, and for anything with consequences, see the India Meteorological Department.
